This is a description of the Rainbow Aikido Club. We are affiliated to the British Aikikai. Our syllabus covers body arts or taijustsu, jo or stick or staff, bokken or sword, tanto or knife and batto-ho. Classes are taught by Eddie Hodgson and Ann Hunter. Our locations are at the Rainbow Leisure Centre, Middlesbrough and the Thornaby Pavilion. Other words of interest include, self defence and ukemi.
